Hello! My name is Laura and I am a passionate early childhood educator with over 10 years of working
with children. I have always had a deep love for working with young children. Watching them grow, learn
new skills, and discover the world around them is incredibly rewarding. I value the opportunity to build
meaningful relationships with each child and to support them during such an important stage of their
development.
I bring a unique and creative perspective to my day home through my background in events and
marketing. This experience allows me to thoughtfully plan engaging activities, create meaningful
experiences, and design a fun, stimulating environment for children to learn and grow in.
I am an active and energetic person who truly values movement and healthy living. I have a love for
sports and the arts and I enjoy incorporating music, rhythm, and physical activity into daily routines.
Staying active is an important part of my lifestyle, and I strive to pass that enthusiasm on to the children in
my care.
I also have a deep appreciation for the outdoors and believe that nature plays a vital role in a child’s
development. Whether it’s outdoor play, walks, or exploring the environment, I enjoy creating
opportunities for children to stay active, curious, and connected to the world around them.
My combination of creativity, energy, and passion for working with children helps me provide a dynamic,
nurturing, and enriching experience where every child can thrive.
Kidz Club Day Home
Kidz Club Day Home is an established day home located in the welcoming community of Elgin in
McKenzie Towne. Built on a strong passion for early childhood education, this day home was thoughtfully
developed to provide children with a nurturing, supportive, and engaging environment where they can
thrive.
At Kidz Club Day Home, children are encouraged to feel safe, secure, and truly at home. The space is
designed to be a “second home,” where each child is valued, respected, and supported in their daily
experiences. Creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere is at the heart of everything we do.
I take pride in offering a balanced program that is fun, educational, and play-based, while maintaining a
clean, safe, and healthy environment.
My approach focuses on supporting each child’s overall
development, with particular attention to social, emotional, intellectual, physical, and creative growth.
Through meaningful interactions, guided play, and responsive care, Kidz Club Day Home strives to meet
the unique developmental needs of every child, helping them build confidence, independence, friendships
and a love for learning.
