Our fee structure is designed in alignment with provincial standards, while ensuring educators receive strong administrative support, reliable payments, and meaningful resources to help their day home thrive.

Agency Fees Payable to Woodlands Kids

Core Agency Fee (Based on Enrolment)

The maximum core agency fee is $550 per month and is scaled based on the number of children attending your day home:

• 1 enrolled child → $150 per month

• 2 enrolled children → $300 per month

• 3 or more enrolled children → $550 per month (maximum cap)

This structure supports educators who are growing their program and ensures fees remain reasonable during start-up and transition periods.

Additional Monthly Support Fee – $150

In addition to the core agency fee, there is a $150 monthly support fee, which covers:

• ✔ Group liability insurance

• ✔ Advertising and marketing to help fill your day home

• ✔ Placement support for families

• ✔ Access to the Woodlands Kids Lending Library

• ✔ Shared resources and program materials

This fee ensures educators are fully supported, protected, and promoted as part of the Woodlands Kids community.

How Fees Are Collected

All agency fees are automatically deducted from the parent fees and government funding processed by the agency.
There is no separate invoicing or manual payment required from educators, allowing you to focus on providing quality care rather than administration.

Monthly Payment Schedule

Educators are paid through the agency as follows:

• Parent Fees – collected by the agency and processed by the 5th of each month

• Government Funding & Subsidy – processed by the 15th of each month

• Wage Top-Up (if eligible) – paid on the last day of the month

All payments are made in arrears, meaning:

• Hours are submitted at the end of the month

• Payments are issued the following month once processed

This system ensures accuracy, transparency, and consistency in educator payments.
