At Woodlands Kids Dayhome Agency, we're here to support educators in running successful child care businesses across Calgary. Joining our agency offers numerous benefits for self-employed educators.
We handle fee collection, subsidy administration, and registration paperwork, allowing you to focus on childcare.
You set your fees and working hours. Additional advantages include an option of your own set up or a Woodlands Kids Dayhome set up, access to an equipment lending library, ongoing support from child care consultants, affordable liability insurance, and opportunities for government funding such as Wage-top Ups, Professional Development Funding, and Infant Care Incentives.
We also provide alternate care options for families when you're unavailable. We prioritize safety and quality care in your home environment.
What are the requirements?
We require that all our Educators have the following before approval:
1. Security Clearance
2. Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Intervention Check for everyone
in the home that is 18 years or older.
3. All dayhome educators are required to have a current Child/Infant
CPR First Aid Certificate.
4. Complete a Level 1 course. This can be completed through in-home
study in the comfort of your own home
You can still apply to become a dayhome educator prior to completing your security clearance and intervention checks. You will need to get them before your approval process.
